Adjustable Length Columns Installation

TOOLS: adjustable wrench

Step 1

Choose appropriate size and strength based on construction project.

Step 2

Place column vertically between footer and beam with adjustable end down.

Step 3

Level and plumb. Use adjustable wrench to lengthen until tight.
Additional tightening can be made during construction to ensure floor stays level.

Step 4

Pour cement floor to permanently lock adjustment.
Or hammer thread to ensure it will not move.
